Resetting a Google Account password

Google Play Games uses a Google Account for authentication. If access to the account is lost, reset the Google Account password.

Reset a password

  1. Open the Google Account recovery page. 
  2. Enter the email address associated with the account. 
  3. Select Next. 
  4. Follow the verification steps. 
  5. Create a new password. 
  6. Sign in to Google Play Games using the updated password.
